Whoo hoo....my little boy was born on Dec. 13, 2009. He was 7 lbs 3 oz and 20 3/4 inches. Labor was intense but he is such a lovely boy. Oh how happy I am.

I stamped the purple cardstock with Verdi Fourish stamp, then added Ranger Crystal stickle and aqua glitter to "glitz" it. The aqua cardstock also has a little sparkle in the center of the snowflakes. Elf Anya's tie has also been glitterfied. I added foil to her hat bell and shoe balls.

Card 1 for Various Challenges

I made this card for various challenges. I used a Digi image by Your Next Stamp Challenge-Skating Ellie. She is a limited edition digi, so if you like her hop over there to buy it. Please follow this link to their store.

I colored Skating Ellie using Le Plume II markers. I used light green, pink, and orange. I colored her pig tails in Staedtler Watercolors in black. I also used glitter clear stickle to color her hat, scarf, mittens and ice skates. I cutout another image of her hat and used pop up dots.

I tried a distressed look around the leaves background, don't know if that's how distress looks like.

The sentiment is from Studio G. The "wish" charm and lace is from my own stash. Lastly, I used sticker snowflakes around her. I lost my snowflake stamps and wasn't able to purchase any yet.

Card for Various Challenges

I made this card for various challenges. I used Elf Anya in DIGI (they ran out of the rubber ones)from the Greeting Farm, Studio G sentiments, ribbon from my stash, I believe the cardstock is from SU (not sure), the little sticky diamonds from Joann's (forgot the brand name), and the big star also from Joann's. I colored her in Le Plume II Double Ended Marker then I colored her hair in Copic atyou Spica in Peach, her red ribbon and shoe balls in Copic atyou Spica in Lipstick, her bell on hat in Copic atyou Spica Buttermilk, and finally her skirt in Copic atyou Spica Mint.

This is a card I made for Caardvarks Micro Color Challenge. I don't know if the colors are correct but I used what I had in my stash. It was a fun challenge to do.

Caardvarks: Color It Challenge

This card was made for Caardvarks Color It challenge.

I used the chick stamp from Imaginisce's For Peep's Sake Collection. I colored the chick with Staedtler Watercolor Crayons (12 pack). I colored the chick's beak with Copic atyou Spica in Peach and also highlighted the chick's flower by the tail with the same color (I hope you can see the Spica Peach color). I tried blending the watercolor crayons with this bird and it came out like this. Not too bad I thought.

Your Next Stamp Challenge #4 - Be Thankful

This is the card I'm entering for Your Next Stamp Challenge #4-Be Thankful. I love this girl monkey. It seems like she has LOTS to say.

I colored her with Staedtler Watercolor Crayons. I used Copic Atyou Spica in Peach to color her crown, her flower, and her cheeks (I hope you guys can see the Peach glitter).

I don't remember what papers I used. I should keep better track but when I'm working, I forget.

Black Friday Shopping

Whew!!! I'm so glad Black Friday shopping is all done with. Ugh!! You guys should have seen all the people waiting in line. I waited at Best Buy for 1 hour just to buy a PS3 game. Man, that sucked big time. Wal-Mart was so packed, Target had a huge line, ugh....so happy it's over with.

I hope everyone's Black Friday shopping went well. :)

Thanksgiving Day Recap

OMG!! I ate so much food, Max could hardly move. He barely moved. I spent Thanksgiving yesterday with my boyfriend and my family. We had all sorts of food. The mango papaya salad was the best. It was a little too spicy but so YUMMY!!!

The Greeting Farm will be coming out with some new chibis....I can't wait to see them. I think I will buy a couple of them cuz they are just too cute.

36 Weeks and 3 Days Along...

Well, just got back from my prenatal appointment. Midwife said I'm 36 weeks and 3 days. Wow!!! I can't believe its been this long already. It seems like it was just yesterday. I have so many chores to do. Have to get everything ready for little Max.

Max is kicking!!!

It's 1 am here and my little boy is kicking in my stomach. I told him he has to go to sleep. Who would have thought that the little one's in your stomach can kick so much. Whew!! Can't wait to see him. One more month and he will be out. Who knows, feels like Max will be coming out sooner... we shall see.

:)Oh yeah, Ali (DragonLady) yes, Max does have hiccups. Isn't that funny? I didn't know they can have hiccups. I heard they cry also :(

The Little Paper Shop Challenge

I also used this card for Stamp Something's card challenge. The challenge for this one ( The Little Paper Shop Challenge) was to use a die cut in your card. As you can see the flower on the bottom right is a die cut. I just glued it with a zot adhesive. I hope that counts. :)
