Wags n Whiskers card

This week at Wags n Whiskers is a sketch challenge. I made this card using my only Wags n Whiskers stamp (Bear Hugs) I had won from Mariska last year. I colored them using watercolor crayons. I also used atyou glitter for the little parts of her dress. It doesnt show unfortunately from the camera. The papers are from Bazzil and Basic Occasions.

I do apologize for the look of the card picture. I left my camera at home and have not had the chance to get it. I took this with the cell phone.

DigiKitty DT Card

Ok..I'm so late to post up my card for DigiKitty this week. I do apologize. I didn't realize a baby can take up so much of your time in a day. (Need to plan better for future references.)

Ok, on to the card, this week at DigiKitty is 'Whoos the Sweetest' owl set. If you played along with us last week, then you got this free set in your inbox. From this set, I used the cute cute owl and the 'whoos the sweetest' sentiment. I printed the owl twice so I could cut out the flower on her head and colored it with glitter gel pen. I popped that for a 3D look. I colored the owl using crayola (very limited on coloring supplies at this moment). The sentiment was colored also with crayola and gel pen. The strawberry is colored with glitter gel pens. I dabbed around the sentiment with Memories ink in sand. The cs are from Basic Occasions. I forgot who the dp is from. The pink flowers were done using my friends Cricut. The rhinestones are part of a flower package I got from Michaels.

Skull tag for StampitCrazy challenge

This skull and bones tag is for StampitCrazy's 'Skulltastic' challenge this week. It was to use a skull and a sentiment. The stamp is from Pink Cat Studio. I stamped the image on a tag I bought from my local craft store. I colored the skulls and bones using Marvy's white gel pen. I wrote the sentiment myself which says 'Got Milk'. I like how it turned out. Not too much and not too little.

I colored the image with copics and gel pens. The pp is from a rak that I got. I followed a sketch from Card Positioning System. I kept this card pretty simple because the stripe pp was too cute. I also added glossy accent to the puddle of water. Doesn't this image remind you of those cute childhood memories you have. Hehehe....

I made this shaped card using my Nesti label that I have not used for so long. The digital image is from Rusty Pickles who is no longer in business. I colored the image with Designspectar color pencils. I kept the card simple by adding a brown ribbon.

Mermaid Card

I made this card using Michelle Perkett's mermaid called 'Just Breath'. I got her from my Special 50/50's group. I colored her using atyou glitter marker in blossom, fiskars gel pen for the rest and light green copic marker for the leaves and blue dot. The challenge over at Michelle Perkett is to use lace and pearls and a color combo. I based the color combo on the Bobunny dp. The scallop edges were created using my Fiskars circle cutter. The circle measures about 1 inch and I cut that in half to create the edge because sadly enough, I don't have a scalloped circle die. :(

I used pearls for the flowers center and added a lace bow.

I can't say how much I love her. I don't think I will be giving her away. She is just so lovely to look at.

Best Wishes Card

I was the winner for LPS 'make something old new again' challenge. I received my
'Take Time' set from Julia and love it. Thanks Julia. For this weeks LPS challenge, it was a color theme; kraft, chocolate, and yellow. I colored my calla lillies yellow and light green, and dark green for the stem. I cut out the image with my exacto and used pop dots for dimensions. I added a gold glittery fiskars gel pen for the center. I inked the edges and distressed around the card with Sand from Memories ink. Laslty, I embossed it with my cuttlebug. I kept the card pretty simple.
