Pieces Friday Die Cut Challenge: Bag

This weeks challenge over at Pieces of Ali n Me: Friday Die Cut Challenge is : Bags. Well, for this challenge I made a gift card holder using SU Top Note die. I embossed the paper with cuttlebug swiss dot. I used scalloped oval die and oval die for the image. I colored baby Riley with prisma colred pencils and used gamsol. I kept this gift card holder pretty simple. Lastly I added some flowers. The sentiment is from SU So Many Sayings.

Paper Cupcakes "Let's Emboss" challenge

Ok, so this weeks challenge at PaperCupcakes is 'Let's Emboss'. Well, guess what???? I made my card but forgot about the embossed part, can you believe that!!! I didn't catch it until blogger kept going wonkers on me. Then I looked on the designer team blog and realized that I was supposed to emboss also.




I used the image Peony that Nina gave us. I colored the image with copics, distressed it with Tim Holtz inks, and added a sentiment from SU.

Sentiment Challenge at Pieces of Ali n Me

This weeks challenge is 'Sentiment' at Pieces of Ali n' Me Friday Die Cut Challenge. As you know, Jen has two challenges going on, the first one is on Mondays, and thats a theme challenge; Fridays are die cuts challenges.

So, for this weeks 'sentiment' die cut challenge, I used a die cut sentiment from
Marcella K's Eliza line (i think that's what it is). I used kraft as my base and worked it with ribbons and a large black silk flower. The punch I used is from Fiskars. The background stamp is Hero Arts.

Paper Cupcake 'Sketch' Challenge

Hi Peeps, this weeks challenge at Paper Cupcakes is a 'Sketch' challenge set by Lucy.




For my card, I used Poppies available here. I love using kraft so I kept everything kraft besides the embellieshments and the image. I used tombow markers to color the poppies, added pearls, ribbon, and a SU clip which I received as a prize from a swap I did on SCS but never used until now. The punch is from MS.

Paper Cupcakes "Birthday" Challenge Time

Julie is our hostess this week at Paper Cupcakes and she chose a "Birthday" challenge. So get out your birthday images/sentiments and get to it. The prize this week is two digital images from Nina. Nina's images can be seen and purchased HERE.

For my birthday card I used Dino with Balloon. I colored Dino with prisma colored pencils. I wanted to keep this birthday card clean so I chose piece of pattern paper from some origami scraps I had. The brown layer and kraft cardstock came from The Paper Company.
