Stampin Up Playday Challenge
Well, its been a while. I haven't been blogging for the longest time. Been super busy and all and with baby 2 on the way, been way tired.
Jen at Pieces of Me is making Mondays her Stampin Up Playday Challenge and for that challenge I'm sharing a card I made w/ a retired SU stamp Yukon. I kept the card very simple because I wanted to keep it manly and because it cost me a fortune and I have not used it yet.
Supplies:
stamp: SU Yukon
paper: SU cs
misc: brads, twine

Doodletales Card
This week I made a birthday card using Chubby Fish. As you can tell I love that fish, he/she is so stinkin' cute!!! Making this card was a bit tricky. I don't have one of those stampamajig thingie to align my stamping so I finally realized that I had to stamp two fishes then go around them to make sure they matched. I used post it notes to draw my line so that I wouldn't stamp over any white parts. After I had stamped the fish the way I liked, I colored them with pastel copic markers. I used the star punch from SU and a sentiment from PaperTrey and stamped that in the star I had punched out.

Supplies:
Stamp: Chubby Fish by Doodletales
Misc: copic markers, SU star punch, PaperTrey sentiment, white ribbon

Doodletales Project
Max loves playing with stuff on our fridge so for Thanksgiving week I made some magnets using Chubby Fish from
Doodletales Etsy. I found these huge flat glass beads from the $1 store and colored Chubby Fish in light purple, light blue, and light pink using copic markers. I used glossy accents to stick on the fish and trimmed around it. Lastly, I had some flat magnets (found at Walmart) and stuck those on the back of the glass beads. Easy peasy!!

Mini Monsters Treat Box
Happy Belated Halloween!!!!
I made this adorable mini monsters treat box for Halloween a couple days ago. The mini monster stamp is from Doodletales Art Rubber Stamps which can be purchased here. I love how the colors worked on the kraft card stock. They are colored with copics. I punched them using SU scalloped oval and oval punches. Added twine, black silk ribbon, and a candy corn button and voila, you get a cute little treat box!

Doodletales DT Creation
My creation for last week as a member of Doodletales DT were some 3x3 cards. The stamp I used was Chubby Fish. Ain't he a cutie!!!! I colored Chubby with copics and used copic spica glitter pens for a little sparkle then I cut them out and popped them with dimensionals. You can't really see the sparkle in them besides on the green one but they all are sparkly. You just can't see it in the picture. I really did try to take a good picture but this was the best I got
:( I kept the 3x3 cards very simple (lots of whites).
Also, to let everyone know, Ivan, my boss and the creator of Doodletales can custom design anything for you. Pop him an email and let him know what you want. Here is an example of what he made for a customer. So cute!!

Doodletales Design Team
Hi Everyone,
After a long long break I am back!!!!! I got accepted as part of the design team for Doodletales. I'm so excited!!! Doodletales is a rubber stamp company from Malaysia and they are made by a guy, Ivan San. You can purchase Doodletales stamps from Ivan's etsy store here. He has very cool and cute stamps plus new ones for Christmas!!!!!
My first DT creation is a tag. I kept it rather simple (I'm so into simple right now). The stamp I used from Doodletales is Mini Zombie. They are so cute!! The sentiment says "Did I scare you?" and is part of a set from The Angel Company. When I saw the stamp I initially wanted a Happy Halloween sentiment but I figure it looks more like he is trying to scare her, lol. I colored them with prisma colored pencil in orange and green. The orange pattern paper and flower is from my SS on SCS. The kraft paper is from Michaels.
Now, go over to Doodletales and take a look and buy some for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!!

Supplies:
stamp: Mini Zombies by Doodletales
Paper: unknown, kraft by Michaels
Medium: prisma colored pencils
Misc: SU large oval, small oval, and scallop oval punch. Sizzix tag die, black ribbon, felt flower, brad.
